NHHS Band to Universal Studios, Orlando, Fl

Parents,
The NHHS Band will be offering a wonderful performing, social, and educational experience this coming Spring. From March 26-30, 2025, we will be in Orlando, Fl for a four night, five day trip. The trip will include participating in 3 days in Universal’s theme and water parks, and a dance/awards ceremony in one of the Universal Studios Theme Parks.
All instructional time missed has been approved by the administration and school board and is in compliance with the Henderson County School System’s regulations on overnight and out of state travel. The absences will not be counted against their yearly total and all work will be allowed to be made up with full academic credit.
Departing NHHS: (est.) 7:30am on Wednesday, March 26
Returning to NHHS: (est.) 8pm on Sunday, March 30
Performance Location: TBA
Traveling Via: Young Transportation
Accommodations: One of Universal Studios Hotels
Food and Beverage: Meals and souvenirs are the only expenses not included in the price for each student/chaperone, with exception of the awards ceremony.
Costs: $960 per student

September 5 - $160
October 3 - $160
November 7 - $160
December 5- $160
January 9 - $160
February 6 - *$160
*The final payment will be adjusted for students based on the disbursement of Booster funds to each students’ account, which will be the amount of funds raised prior to the end of February split evenly between each student. It will be lower than this, which will lower the total cost, but the exact amount is unknown at this time.
Past December 15, all money is non-refundable.
Chaperone Cost (per person): 4 person room - $960
3 person room - $1,100
2 person room - $1,400
Chaperone Cost will be lower than the numbers quoted above. The amount of chaperones who attend and profit from fundraisers will determine how much lower.
Assistance: The North Henderson Band Boosters do offer financial assistance on a need basis. In order to be considered for assistance the student must request assistance by contacting Mr. Sigmon directly. Mr. Sigmon will take any requests to the Executive Board who will make the final decision on any possible financial help.
