Band Camp Dates: Dates Times
Music Rehearsal – Winds and Percussion July 24 6:00-8:00pm
Everyone! July 31 - Aug. 4 9am-5pm
All dates of the camp that include your section are required, 100% attendance is essential to our success on the field and will make everyone’s experience better and more fulfilling. We understand sickness and that sometimes, previously planned vacations conflict. Please inform Mr. Sigmon in writing in advance of your absence, or provide a doctor’s note for an illness. This is a class that you receive credit for, and the school’s attendance policy applies. If you are unfamiliar with that policy, please contact the main office or consult the school website.
Being a member of this group is something special, you will have friends in all grade levels throughout High School and a family in the marching band. That family atmosphere happens through participation, hard work, and the sense of community that comes from working toward a common goal. None of these goals can be achieved without dedication and attendance. We will attend all home football games, selected away games, Henderson County parades, and multiple marching competitions.
Marching Band Fees:
Fees for the coming year are $250 for all members. This fee covers: marching band T-shirt, music composition, drill writing, uniform cleaning, marching shoes, gloves, flip folders, competition entrance fees, and the $20 transportation fee mandated by HCPS. All $250 is due by June 2nd to reserve a spot. There may be financial help available, please contact Mr. Sigmon if you have any questions.

You can send in a check or money order with your student or mail it to the school at my attention.

Rehearsal Days and Time:
Once the school year begins class will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 – 5:30pm. Marching Band is a half-credit academic course, and the school absence policy applies.
